One of the most important aspects of a quality dispatch and scheduling software program is the flexibility of its calendar features. The Mobilogic FieldOPS calendars are feature-rich and simple to use. The dispatch boards, or DBoards, have both time-based scheduling and priority based scheduling capabilities.
In many cases, residential home service contractors may opt to use the time-based DBoards to visually see the time available for scheduling a technician’s workday. Commercial service firms may opt to see their work order jobs stacked together showing the estimated number of hours for each type of problem.
Depending on the size of your company, you may wish to have separate DBoards for each department, center, or employee group. An Unassigned column comes standard on the DBoard, so schedulers know what still needs to be assigned on any particular day.
At a glance, your dispatchers will be able to see work order statuses with the color coded Dboard. Assignment status, employee status, and work order priorities are all color coded. Assignments can trigger a late alert when the start time has passed, and the assignment has yet to be started. FieldOPS also has an alert on the DBoard for an assignment taking longer than the estimated time.
